Be aware! I consider November 20 – January 2, the Silly Season.
People just do crazy things during this time of the year. Maybe it is due to the stress of the holidays, change in the season, planetary shift or whatever. All I know is it happens every year.
You awareness level must be maxed out during this time. Colonel Jeff Cooper called it Condition Yellow, state of awareness, 360 degree security at all time.
Yes, live your life but please keep your “head in the game.”I truly wish everyone very happy holidays and I hope all of you are prepared!
Sandbags are a great workout tool! I highly recommend them. Visit my website today at www.combathard.com or click on the link below and order your sandbags today!
This is how I spent yesterday, November 1, 2008. I witnessed John Brookfield and Jon Bruney establish a World Record Truck Pull. 31,000 lbs for one mile in approximately one hour. Incredible!
At the end of each day, I ask myself this question. What have I done today? That can mean a lot of things to many different people. What it means to me is simple. What have I done today to make sure that I am capable of protecting my loved ones, myself and others in need. I believe it is a very important question that each of you should ask yourself!
Did I workout, did I practice my self-defense or self-protection skills, did I pray or mediate, did I study my threat? Well the list of questions can go on and on. Yes, I know that life is a mystery and yes, we are living in troubled times. Honestly, it has always been that way. Life will always be a mystery and we will always live in troubled times. The world is changing and change brings out stress in all of us.
What have you done today to ensure your survival? What have you done today to ensure that you win each and everyday as you face your daily battles? Ask yourself, What have I done today? If the answer is nothing, get out and do something immediately. Be safe and train hard. Best wishes!
